Ziv Chen

Ziv spent his life between the USA and Israel before settling in the Isle of Man in 2008. His first job in online gambling was as a casino affiliate manager in 1999. He instantly fell in love with the technology, games and dynamic people that make the iGaming industry, and knew he found his place.

Ziv advanced to management positions in online casino operations. From there he moved to casino software companies like Playtech and Microgaming where he served in business development, marketing and commercial roles.

Journalism was one of Ziv’s passions from an early age. When he was 8 years-old, he got his first gig as editor-in-chief of his elementary school paper (he was also the only writer, photographer, printer and delivery boy the paper had at the time).

Having earned his Bachelor’s degree from University of Maryland and Master’s from University of Pittsburgh, Ziv always loved to write and wanted to become a sports journalist. But once started his online gambling career he never looked back.

Nowadays, Ziv is combining his passion for writing and love of casinos into a fulltime writing career. He uses his professional experience and industry connections to cover slots, casino table games, casino strategies, industry news and more.

In his free time Ziv writes for his American sports blogs and attends to his Whiskey collection. Sometimes he combines these passions too.
