Welcome to FansBet, a completely unique, green-tinted betting site with the goal of supporting sports teams and their fans! This is achieved by the site's generous policy of sharing half of their net profit with registered sports clubs and organisations through FansBet's very own "Fan Partner" program.

This means that by playing at FansBet you could be supporting your favourite sports team, so when you win you win, but even when you lose at least your club wins! You won't find this kind of system in place anywhere else.

Despite this unique touch that might sound odd to some, FansBet is a more than capable betting site, offering a wide selection of bets with decent odds to UK players. Fantasy sports and a casino are also a part of the package, so definitely worth a try!

Predict & Win - Play for free and win £10,000 in free bets

One of the exceptional features FansBet has in addition to their charity, is Predict & Win mode that you can take part in for free. You only need to be registered, throw in your answers for 8 questions each round to guess the correct scores of 8 football matches and you are in to win £10,000 in free bets!

  1. Play Predict & Win here >>
  2. Register your new account first
  3. Participate and win £10,000 in free bets!

FansBet is not the biggest betting site out there, but competitive odds and the fact the sportsbook gives back plenty of cash to good causes are among the reasons to play here.

Users can be assured FansBet is safe and secure to use as it is fully licensed and regulated, while SSL encryption is also in place to keep customer data protected at all times.

There are a couple of usability issues with FansBet, for instance cash out not showing the scores of open bets, while the lack of a mobile betting app for iOS and Android is a shame. No live streaming is also a familiar problem among smaller betting sites such as FansBet.

Overall, however, with the FansBet welcome offer well worth a look, this site is recommended. That is thanks to a comprehensive sportsbook that also includes a suite of virtual sports as well, while the 24/7 customer service provided at FansBet is outstanding and withdrawals are fast.

FansBet's free bet sign up offer is easy to claim - just click through via Bojoko's link.

It is automatically applied with no need to enter a bonus or promo code, which is handy. The wagering requirements need to be met within a week, which is short, however.

FansBet also offers plenty of chances to earn more free bets on a regular basis as well. This means it is not just new FansBet users who get a top deal, but existing customers too.

FansBet doesn't offer no deposit bonuses or free bets at the moment.

FansBet's main focus is the fans, and especially football fans! Naturally, this means that you can find especially good value for your money from the football odds at the site, while the other sports on offer adhere quite tightly to the average payout of 93%.

Fansbet odds display

Fansbet offers odds in three different formats: decimal, fractional, and American. Players can change the way the Fansbet odds are displayed via the site settings. Also, the time zone and language can be changed.

FansBet odds are competitive across most of the major sports that are available to bet on. Testing found FansBet has a relatively low margin, so users will find decent value here. Various sports also have odds boosts available, which improves the value on offer at FansBet further.

Customers who join FansBet can also decide which format they want to use for odds on the sportsbook during the registration process, which is a welcome touch.

UK is one of the most important markets for FansBet, which is why their bet selection for players is filled to the brim with firm favourite sports of our island. This of course includes the likes of football, tennis, rugby union & -league, boxing, gaelic football, snooker & pool and many more.

There aren't many forms of sport that can't be bet on at FansBet, and the markets available go all the way into esports, politics and entertainment. All in all, not much to complain about, no matter your favourite sport!

Football, horse racing and tennis are the top three sports to bet on here, but FansBet has a comprehensive sportsbook with a long list of sports available.

Minor sports such as bandy and bowls are covered, as well as futsal, pool, handball and plenty of others. Sometimes dogs betting markets are missing from newer UK sportsbooks, but they are on the FansBet site too.

FansBet's depth of markets is not brilliant. Typically, games in the Premier League have about 150 bets to pick from. On other sites, this number can be twice as large, so some people might be unable to find the specific wager they want to place.

Football and basketball fans can also use the FansBet bet builder tool, which allows them to create their own accumulator-style wagers. This works in the same way as on other sites.

Virtual racing, football, trotting and dogs action can also be found at the FansBet sportsbook, as well as esports markets for the likes of CS:GO, Dota 2, League of Legends and more.

FansBet customers can also bet on special events like Dancing On Ice and Eurovision too.

Most bets at FansBet are entitled to use the site's cashout-feature, which provides players with the option of cashing out sure-fire winnings from their bet even before it's reached it's conclusion. This is especially useful when you have a bet that is winning, but you are extremely unsure of if the situation is going to last.

The more likely your bet looks like being a winner, the more money the cashout-feature will offer you. The amount won't stay the same for long, so if you want to cashout for a certain amount, don't rest on your laurels!

Live betting is a significant part of the of the FansBet portfolio, and this is evident from their wide offering of sports, which is almost as large as on their pre match -side. The most popular sports in FansBet's in-play are of course football and basketball, but ice hockey and baseball are also among favourites.

To help players make decisions concerning their live bets, FansBet has set up their own game centers for each match. The center provides all kinds of stats from the games all the way to throw-ins. Live odds at FansBet are at just as a high level as their pre match -counterparts, which is of course nice.

Live in-play betting is decent at FansBet. During my testing, there were 100 bets to pick from for a Turkish Super Lig match involving Galatasaray, so there was plenty of choice on offer.

A match tracker can be used to follow the action but FansBet does not currently have any live streaming available for users, which is a shame. There is also a lack of data and statistics on the live in-play interface at FansBet compared to some of the larger UK sportsbook sites.

FansBet has cash out available for live bets, while there is also the chance to use a partial cash out for those who want to hedge their bets further. Cash out works fast, which is a big plus, but users cannot see which legs of the wager are on track to win, which is a serious oversight.

Football fans will also enjoy the chance to use FansBet's pulse bet feature. Here, people can bet on if a goal will be scored in the next 30 seconds, one minute, five minutes or 10 minutes.

It is even possible to add more selections to open bets at FansBet, creating more flexibility.

Most of betting nowadays happens on mobile devices, which is why it is essential to have a fast-running mobile website. FansBet has achieved this rather well with a nicely optimized website that is easy to navigate. The mobile version also adapts to all sized screens without a hitch.

FansBet do not currently offer their own mobile application to players, but this will not be an issue, as the browser version functions perfectly well on both smart phones and tablets.

FansBet does not yet have its own mobile betting app for either iOS or Android. However, when I was chatting to customer support they did say that a mobile FansBet app is now in the works.

The mobile site at FansBet works well enough, though, with pages fast to load. This is the most important thing for mobile betting as users might otherwise miss the chance to place a wager.

No major issues were found when I was testing the FansBet mobile site, which has both pre-match and in-play markets, as well as access to the supplementary online casino.

Safe & responsible gambling

If you can't gamble safely, you shouldn't gamble at all, which is why FansBet is fully licensed by UK Gambling Commission, guaranteeing players tax-free winnings and the safety of the site. Safe gambling doesn't just concern the site itself though, as players can monitor their safety with the following tools:

FansBet also provides players with plenty of useful links to sites who give professional help concerning gambling addiction. If you or someone you know are suffering from a gambling addiction, please seek help for yourself or them as soon as possible.

The world today is a 24/7 one, which is why FansBet's customer support is also available around the clock in English. Support to players is provided through both email and live chat, and while all email inquiries will be responded to within a maximum of 24 hours, live chat is the way to go for all problems requiring an immediate solution.

In more simple issues, you can also check out the extensive FAQ page on the site. The Frequently Asked Questions include plenty of different kinds of queries, ranging from money transfers, bonuses, verification and much much more.

Live chat is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week at FansBet, which is very good news. The site claims to have an average response time of around one minute for live chat.

When I tested out the customer support at FansBet at 5pm on a Monday, it took less than a full minute for a friendly agent to start answering my questions about the site's KYC process.

Customer support is also available via email - help@fansbet.com - with users advised that they could wait an average 48 hours to get a response.

It is therefore smarter to use the live chat option, especially as it is available 24/7 at FansBet.

There is also a decent FAQ which is likely to be useful for anyone experiencing a problem here.

KYC & Documents

FansBet is regulated by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission, which is why players must be able to verify their banking, identity and address when asked. This can be done with the following documents straight through the site and your account, or alternatively via our customer support.

Expert's review Jamie Smith

Opening an account with FansBet was simple, quick and painless - taking just a few minutes.

Depositing was also swift, with users advised that due to legal and licensing regulations they may be asked to provide documentation to verify their identity.

A government issued ID document such as a passport or driving licence must be sent in when requested, as well as valid proof of address: a bank statement showing a minimum 30 days transactions and dated within 90 days of the document being delivered or requested.

The Upload Verification Documents page within a user's account is where they go to do this, with those who fail to complete this step warned that their account could be suspended.

Customer service at FansBet told me that KYC checks are worked out on a deposit and withdrawal amount, which is somewhere around the £1,500 withdrawal deposit combined.

As I had not met that figure, I could process my FansBet withdrawal without going through the steps of uploading documents as part of the KYC process.

Smoothly operating deposits and withdrawals are extremely important for all betting sites, and FansBet doesn't disappoint in this aspect. Although there could be a few more payment options available, the most traditional ones like debit cards, e-wallets, online bank transfers and PayPal are available.

The minimum deposit to the site is £10, and all deposits will arrive immediately. The withdrawal times aren't the best available on the market, but not exactly atrocious either. If you have any questions concerning the payment options, don't hesitate to ask FansBet's customer support.

Expert's review Jamie Smith

FansBet's list of approved payment methods is very short, with not many options available.

Debit cards from Visa and MasterCard can be used to make a deposit, but it is not possible to use a credit card following a change to the law a couple of years back.

E-wallets like PayPal, Skrill and Neteller cannot be used at FansBet, while anyone hoping to be able to deposit in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies is going to be left disappointed here.

On the flip side, there are no fees for deposits at FansBet, which is a good thing. The minimum deposit is set at £10, while the most users can add to their account in one go is £20,000.

For withdrawals, users have to request a payout of at least £20, which is higher than on some sports betting sites in the UK.

FansBet says that it will process all withdrawals within 48 hours, which excludes weekends and bank holidays), but withdrawals may take up to three to five working days to be received.

I put my FansBet withdrawal through at 11am on a Wednesday and received the funds into my bank account an hour later - which is as rapid as some e-wallet payments on many other sites.

Withdrawals cannot be cancelled at FansBet once a request has been submitted to the site.
