The road to WrestleMania 41 is still underway, but we're starting to get a hunch about what the Showcase of the Immortals has in store for wrestling fans in 2025. Here are Bojoko's WrestleMania match card predictions:
At this point, the World Heavyweight Championship match between Royal Rumble 2025 winner Jey Uso and Gunther seems to be the most locked-in bout for WrestleMania 41.
Traditionally, the Royal Rumble winner challenges the WWE Champion at WrestleMania, but a Jey Uso vs Cody Rhodes match doesn't make much sense, as they haven't had any significant storyline together. Instead, the Yeet Master has already faced Gunther twice, both times unsuccessfully. At the post-Royal Rumble press conference, Uso expressed his belief that he could still take on The Ring General, who has held the Heavyweight title since June 2022.
Our prediction? Jey Uso vs Gunther for the Heavyweight Championship will be the main event of WrestleMania Saturday.
For the WrestleMania Sunday main event, our prediction is Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk for the WWE Championship.
The seeds for this match were planted in the final RAW before the Royal Rumble when Punk declared that he would challenge Rhodes and take the title sooner or later. This made The Voice of the Voiceless a favourite to win the 30-man brawl, but things didn't go his way when he lost (like the year before when Cory Rhodes eliminated punk). However, Punk still has a chance to earn his title shot by winning Elimination Chamber.
Since his return, Punk has been presented as a babyface, while Rhodes' brutal victory over Kevin Owens - and his cold indifference toward his battered former friend - hints at a potential heel turn for The American Nightmare. This shift would make the match far more emotionally charged for fans than a simple contest between two good guys.
John Cena is on his farewell tour, and there's no doubt the legendary superstar will be part of WrestleMania.
As Bojoko's wrestling experts predicted even before the Royal Rumble, Cena is unlikely to get a title shot at Mania. After all, it wouldn't make sense to hand him a championship only for him to vacate it upon retirement. Instead, a dream matchup would pit one of WWE's most beloved legends against one of its most despised figures: Logan Paul. This perfect face vs. heel dynamic would see Cena take on Paul in what could be one of WrestleMania's most talked-about matches.
Both Paul and Cena officially joined the RAW roster at the start of January with the launch of the Netflix Era, making it easy to build a weekly feud. The spark for this rivalry could come from Cena eliminating Paul during the Royal Rumble match - something the cocky social media star won't take lightly.
Kevin Owens is certain to have a match at WrestleMania, and based on the current storyline, Sami Zayn would be the ideal opponent.
However, we predict that these two Canadian wrestlers will face off instead at Elimination Chamber in Toronto this March. If Owens vs. Zayn is off the table for WrestleMania, then Owens vs. Randy Orton becomes a strong possibility.
Back in November 2024, Owens took Orton out with a banned Package Piledriver, and since then, Orton has been sidelined - whether due to a legitimate injury or a scripted absence. Either way, The Viper is not someone who takes kindly to being provoked. A revenge-seeking Orton facing Owens in a no-rules style match at WrestleMania feels like a perfect fit.
Charlotte Flair made her long-awaited return to the ring at the Royal Rumble, where she entered, dominated, and secured a golden ticket to choose her WrestleMania opponent.
We believe she will challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship. Stratton is a rising young star who is still in her honeymoon phase with WWE fans. A match against a second-generation superstar like Flair would be a major boost for her career, even if Flair ultimately takes the title. This could also pave the way for a long-term storyline, potentially extending to the post-WrestleMania Bad Blood event.
