Casino Joy has delivered the goods with a mouth-watering selection of slots, intuitive mobile site and plentiful bonus choice. I found this casino site to be fun, friendly and a joy to explore.
This refreshing casino brand ‘struts its stuff’ with a simple site structure and colours that ‘pop’. The homepage struck a high note with the right balance of information against visual enticements. A winners’ feed, banner animation and category images add a nice level of gamification.
Casino Joy is incredibly easy to navigate, the site features a simple hamburger menu on the left, minimising on-page clutter. The two-step signup form made it a painless process to register. However, when I completed my £40 deposit I was presented with a blank page with ‘error’ on it. I closed the page and my £40 was displayed in my real money balance. This little niggle needs to be ironed out and the whole process would be seamless.
Casino Joy splits your funds across three pots including balance, bonus and reserve. The reserve pot is the same as your real money pot but it serves as a backup balance. I’m not sure if this promotes social responsibility, this is the only reason I dropped a point off the rating.

New customers to Casino Joy have the option to grab a 100% up to £200 bonus plus a batch of 200 Free Spins to be played on the popular Starburst slot.
This is a decent welcome bonus but the 40X wagering requirements come in a little higher than the industry average of 35X.
The free spins are split across nine days with 20 free spins on each day, valid for three days. Any wins from the free spins are capped at £100 which I found to be pretty generous across the industry standard.
I deposited £40 and doubled my deposit with an additional £40 sitting in my bonus balance. Your real money balance will be used before your bonus balance. I used my 20 Free Spins on Starburst and walked away with an additional £2.35 which was added to my bonus balance.
Overall, this is a respectable bonus offer for casino enthusiasts. The wagering terms are a notch higher than the average but the generous cap on winnings makes up for this.

I was immediately impressed with this wide range of slots at Casino Joy. They host games from the world’s best game providers including NetEnt, Microgaming and Yggdrasil. I was spoilt for slot choice
Casino Joy’s way of displaying their impressive collection of games was a big hit with me. Games are broken down into categories using 3D images, these categories include favourites, hot games, slots and jackpots, live casino, casino games and game providers. Once you click on one of these it further breaks down the slot selection into additional categories.
Slots and jackpots are broken down into jackpots, video slots, classic slots and must fall jackpots. This made it very easy to filter down and find the games that met my preference. Being able to search by game providers was a big tick for me. This search filter is generally underutilised and something slot enthusiasts would yearn for, so well done Casino Joy!
I picked out Yggdrasil’s Valley of the Gods (my most favourite slot), NetEnt’s Narcos and Red Tiger’s Pirates’ Plenty Battle for Gold slot which had a daily jackpot. I wagered £0.60 per spin and had some decent payouts on Valley of the Gods. I had less joy on my other slot picks. In general, the slot play was exquisite, minus the slight bit of lag I experienced using 50mbps internet speed.
I couldn’t leave without dipping into the live casino which was powered by NetEnt and Evolution Gaming. Casino Joy has over 100 live dealer games, this is a huge flex. I hit the virtual felt on the First Person Baccarat table. My £1 bets went up and down but I left with a small profit. The gameplay was smooth, stylish and simple. I also had a quick look at the Side Bet City game by Evolution. This colourful table game was a lot of fun, the streaming went without glitches and it was a joy to play. I left with a little less but it was my first time on this game. I’ll be back for sure!

The Casino Joy online casino has a fully responsive site that seamlessly translates on mobile devices. I was exploring the mobile site on my iPhone X where the site looks great.
A few things have been moved around so it’s less cluttered and easier to navigate. The hamburger menu presents most areas of the site while the homepage hosts a large selection of games. Filtering down and finding a game on mobile was a breeze. I think the mobile site is on par with the desktop site. I could not point out any shortcomings with the mobile site. The quality of mobile play felt like a dedicated app wasn’t needed. I had a few spins on the While Rabbit slot and found the mobile gameplay to be fluid with no lag. There is also a wide range of mobile-friendly games so I was not short of finest on-the-go slot entertainment.

The support feature was easily found in the top right corner of the screen in the form of a question mark icon. When I click on it, this presents a very intuitive menu of support options. It leads with the FAQs with a search bar and keywords to help narrow down your question. On the right-hand side, you can find the email and phone information, Casino Joy rules and the live chat feature.
I opened the live chat box and I had to input your last name and date of birth before commencing the chat. I thought this extra information would be enough to verify my identification but when I was greeted by a support agent I was also asked to confirm my ID by providing my name and postcode.
I connected with a support agent in less than a minute and received a quick answer to my question. I also noticed a live chat box appears during the signup funnel so you can ask questions during the signup process, should you have any. I thought this was a nice touch.

I found the document upload area within my account section. I was greeted with a message that suggested that no documents are needed at this time and that they will be in contact when any documents are needed.
Casino Joy has a £2000 threshold before you are required to produce documents to confirm your identification. I think customers should have the option regardless since it’s all in the name of being socially responsible. However, I understand the regulation only requires verification for larger deposits and withdrawals.

The deposit button is always visible and a solid section of payment options including a variety of eWallets and PayPal. There is also a tick box if you wish to claim a bonus with the deposit.
I used my Visa debit card to deposit £40 and found it clear and easy to enter my card details where the long card number and expiry date are automatically saved.
Once I was ready to cash out I found the withdrawal area within the ’My Account’ section. I was happy to see the minimum withdrawal amount was £10 and not the standard £20. I was less joyous to see that there is a withdrawal fee. I withdrew £19 but had to sacrifice £0.80 as a withdrawal fee. £0.80 is the minimum withdrawal fee, so expect a bigger fee for larger withdrawals. It always annoys me when I see a cheeky withdrawal fee like this.
I received an email the next day that suggested I needed to wager my funds at least once before the withdrawal could be processed. However, they were kind enough to make an exception this time. I deposited £40, wagered through £21 and did not touch the remaining £19. This wager rule is to help prevent money laundering. I don’t see many online casinos that enforce this rule with low withdrawal amounts but I was pleased to see that they made an exception in this case.
After I received the email, it took four more working days for the money to reach my bank account. A pretty average amount of time for a casino withdrawal.
Banking methods:
Mastercard 0-2 working days, Visa 0-2 working days, Wire transfer 0-2 working days, Skrill 0-2 working days, NETELLER 0-2 working days, Trustly 0-2 working days, Maestro 0-2 working days
