Despite the tacky looking design, I found CoinFalls to provide everything I could need from a casino and a little more!

Signing up wasn’t difficult thanks to the simple 1-page form. I filled this in with some basic details such as my name, address, email, a password and mobile number. The only annoying aspect was the check-box which said ‘I agree to’. Ticking this also meant opting-in to the casino’s promotional message too, so I had to uncheck each one of these separately. With everything complete, I hit ‘Play Now’ and got a welcome message pop-up box with a big yellow ‘Deposit’ button.

Exploring the site, I found everything I needed, including a handy FAQ section and document upload area, should my account require verification. The menus were okay, but things do feel a little scattered around the place. It would be nice to see an overhaul of the design so that it’s easier to find the basics such as bonus info, promotions and the cashier sections.

My number one bugbear with CoinFalls, however, has to be the terrible background wallpaper they are using. It’s a mashup of some tacky casino stock photos and actually hurts my eyes to look at. If only they went for a more professional looking theme, the overall look of this casino site would be vastly improved.

Clicking on ‘Play Now’ from the bonus pop-up which appeared right after making my first deposit, I landed in the casino lobby. I had expected the game to load, but luckily a yellow banner across the screen notified me of my free 13 rounds. I clicked on ‘View Games’, and this led me to Dark King: Forbidden Riches. Once the game loaded, a message appeared to confirm that I had 13 free rounds, unlucky for some I thought!

The spins were worth £0.20 each, and when I’d played all 13, I only managed to gather a pathetic £0.85 in winnings. This appeared immediately as my bonus cash balance at the top of the screen. There was also a handy little meter showing my bonus wagering progress at the top of the screen, which was a nice touch. Tapping on this took me to a full bonus breakdown in the ‘Rewards’ section of my account info.

This particular offer came with a 40x (B) wagering requirement which meant that I’d need to play through £34 to claim my £0.85 bonus. I found it odd that there were so many bonuses to choose from on signing up at CoinFalls. The one I picked wasn’t actually the welcome bonus, but it was nice to feel that there was something decent on offer for lower deposit amounts like mine. That said, at 40x wagering for less than £1, I decided to cancel the bonus and stick with my real money funds.

The menu layout here certainly isn’t the best I’ve ever encountered, and the categories did appear to be a little random. For example, the ‘Hot game’ tab only had 4 random titles in there. I just feel that the site navigation could do with a good spring clean. Also, the lack of any progressive jackpots is disappointing, but it was good to see the large list of game providers on offer.

Diving into the slot games selection, I took Eric the Viking for a few £0.40 spins. With barely a win in sight, I swiftly moved on. Trying a few £0.30 spins on Immortal Romance, I instantly hit a £5 win, but my good fortune dried up right after that. I then had a fair few £0.30 spins on Chilli Heat, but there was nothing which set my world on fire from there.

Checking out the pretty limited live casino, I played a few hands at Live Blitz Blackjack and came away a few quid up. I had worse fortune when playing a few spins on NetEnt Live Roulette and had nothing to show for my efforts there.

All of the slot games I tried out did seem to lag at times. For example, the scatter symbols in Immortal Romance didn’t always load up alongside the other symbols, which made it hard to see what was going on. The live casino fared better with, and I had no issues with the real-time streams.

Booting up the site on my Android device, things certainly felt a little more cramped than the desktop version. All the same, functionality was there, which was nice to see, but it did look like they had just shrunk things down to fit on smaller screens. At least I couldn't see the horrendous background wallpaper on my OnePlus screen!

Checking out the mobile games, I went for a few spins on Dead or Alive II, to begin with, but didn’t shoot any straight-up big wins there. Moving on to Release the Kraken my fortune remained at zero and my £0.40 spins got me nowhere close to any decent winnings either. Finally, I tried a couple of the bingo games on offer at CoinFalls, and while they were pretty fun, my numbers didn’t come up, so I called it a day.

The games I tried on mobile loaded and played slightly better than their counterparts on the desktop version of the site. There was none of the lag that I had experienced previously, and I was pretty happy overall despite the slightly cramped feeling of the mobile site here.

Searching around the site for help, I found the useful FAQs page. It covered all of the basics from opening an account to getting it verified. Although it wasn’t the most comprehensive section of casino questions and answers I’d ever seen, I feel that there’s enough here to happily answer most regular queries.

Clicking on the live chat button in the bottom right corner of the site, I had to fill in my name, email, mobile number and my question before tapping ‘Chat’. I then got a list of suggested answers to my question, but these didn’t really seem to match up to what I was asking. Maybe it was because I didn’t use the exact word ‘withdrawal’, but it’s still a neat idea.

Tapping ‘Connect to agent’ my chat was answered in under 10 seconds by one of the support team who asked for my email address. Pretty annoying as I’d just typed that in. The agent was polite, pretty prompt and could handle all the questions I threw at them so I can’t fault them there. They also asked if there was anything else I needed which is always good in my book!

Searching around the CoinFalls site for some info on verification, I found a couple of mentions in the FAQs section. It stated that they might ask me for relevant documentation to satisfy their regulatory or legal requirements when opening my account. As it happened, I was able to open up a new account without any further checks. It also said that checks may also be required when I made a future withdrawal of any winnings.

Looking into the ‘Upload Documents’ section in my account settings has some basic details on what’s required by the casino to verify my account. There was also a button to select the files as well as a drag and drop area to dump the files into. Fortunately, I didn’t need to use any of these functions as my deposit and withdrawal at CoinFalls went through without triggering any additional checks.

CoinFalls offers you a range of safe and secure banking options. Players can place deposits through Visa Debit Cards, MasterCard, Maestro, Neteller, Skrill, Paysafecard, Zimpler and Trustly amongst others.

Immediately after signing up, I hit the ‘Deposit’ button to drop some funds into my new account. I was pleased to see a simple 1-page form here with a list of payment providers down the left-hand side. I selected Mastercard Debit and entered my card details before hitting ‘Save’ to lock them into place. Entering my chosen amount of £40, I selected the bonus spins from the 4 available casino bonuses on offer and hit the ‘Deposit’ button. I got a pop-up notice about the casino’s Player Fund Protection policy and hit ‘Accept’ to continue. In less than 5 seconds the deposit was confirmed as a success, and I got another pop-up which invited me to play my new bonus.

Coming to make a withdrawal, I was pretty annoyed to find that I’d be charged a £1.50 fee because my cash-out was less than the £30 limit. Fees are never good, but I felt like I was being penalised for not winning any decent chunk of change. The process was very simple as my card details were already saved from when I made my deposit. I just entered the amount I wanted to withdraw, the fee was clearly shown, and it stated the cash that I’d actually receive into my bank account. Hitting ‘Withdraw’ a pop-up informed me that it would take 2-3 working days to approve my request and release the funds.

It actually took just under 27 hours for my withdrawal to be approved by the casino. The funds also hit my account at the same time a confirmation email landed in my inbox so there were no further waits to claim my funds. This is a pretty respectable turn around time for my initial withdrawal and it was a good all-round experience despite the nominal transaction fee.
