Summary

Happy Tiger Bingo offers a beautiful, mobile-friendly site with bingo and casino games. Despite its high-quality design and unique in-house software, the site only features two bingo rooms. In addition, its generous bingo bonus is weighted down by challenging wagering requirements. Still, Happy Tiger Bingo may appeal to those seeking something different.

Available Bingo Variants: 75, 90

Happy Tiger Bingo Review

Happy Tiger Bingo is a site launched in 2021 aimed at the bingo-loving people of the UK.

The site and its games are beautiful and mobile-friendly. Quality has not been compromised; Happy Tiger Bingo has invested heavily in making the site entertaining and easy to use.

However, the site's lack of tiger-themed content was a surprise since the name and logo design made me expect to see more of it. Instead, I got a lot of blue, purple, and palm trees. Not what I expected, but it's looking pretty, nonetheless.

While the site's appearance and usability pleasantly surprised me, it was perhaps a bit shocking to find only two rooms in the bingo lobby: 75-ball and 90-ball bingo. This is a significant difference from other online bingo sites, where you typically see at least 10 and up to 30 rooms.

And the surprises didn't end there, as Happy Tiger Bingo has made an interesting choice regarding its bingo software. Happy Tiger Bingo has developed the bingo software on its site in-house rather than acquiring it from providers like Pragmatic Play, Virtue Fusion, or Playtech, as most competing sites have done.

In other words, although the selection of bingo rooms at Happy Tiger is significantly slimmer than what I'm used to seeing, having in-house bingo software is always an intriguing feature. It offers the opportunity to experience something unique that you won't find on other sites.

Is this uniqueness enough to attract players? Happy Tiger Bingo's notably large welcome bonus drew my attention, but unfortunately, it didn't hold up upon closer inspection. The hefty wagering requirement for the bonus is a deterrent to claiming the full bonus, and the extremely limited game selection further dampened my enthusiasm.

In summary, Happy Tiger Bingo is a high-quality site. Despite its large bingo bonus, the overall offering doesn't compete well with other available bingo sites. However, Happy Tiger Bingo may be an interesting find for you if you're looking to experience something out of the ordinary.

Happy Tiger Bingo Bonus

Happy Tiger has a rather versatile bingo bonus awaiting when you sign up, opt-in to the offer and deposit £20 or more:

Although the lion's share—or should we say the tiger's share—of Happy Tiger's welcome bonus is aimed at casino games, you can still use the deposit bonus portion to play in the bingo rooms.

Claiming the bonus involves multiple steps. To be eligible for the bonus, your first deposit must be at least £20. After that, you need to wager £10 on games for Happy Tiger to add 10 bingo tickets and 25 bonus spins to your account in addition to the deposit bonus.

You will receive the remaining tickets and spins by logging into Happy Tiger for three consecutive days after the day when you made the initial deposit. Each day's login gives you a package of 10 tickets and 25 spins.

The wagering requirement for the deposit bonus is super high, as both the bonus and the initial deposit must be wagered 40x. A typical wagering requirement for UK-facing casinos is set at 35x, and in most cases, it only affects the bonus. This is something you might want to consider before opting for the bonus.

At least the high wagering requirements don't concern the bingo tickets and bonus spins, as their WR is set at 1x.

Happy Tiger Free Bingo Tickets

At the moment, Happy Tiger doesn't provide players with free bingo tickets.

As a new player, you can get a total of 40 bonus bingo tickets when you deposit at least £20 and stake £10. You get 10 bingo tickets immediately and then 10 tickets every day for the next three consecutive days when you log in.

Compare Happy Tiger Bingo Bonus

Happy Tiger offers a hefty 200% deposit bonus up to £300, and players who choose this bonus also receive a total of 40 bingo tickets and 100 bonus spins.

Bingo sites operating in the UK typically offer new players 100% deposit bonuses up to £50-£100, along with a few dozen bingo tickets. Compared to this, Happy Tiger's bingo bonus is above average.

At first glance, the bonus looks really attractive. However, its appeal is overshadowed by the extremely high 40x wagering requirement that goes for both deposit and bonus (1x WR for bingo tickets and bonus spins).

The selection of bingo games at Happy Tiger is admittedly quite limited. Currently, only 75-ball and 90-ball bingo rooms are available, running on the site's own software.

In both rooms, the main prize is £2,500. It's decent but not the largest I've seen. You can buy up to 40 bingo tickets at a time, at a minimum of 25p per ticket. Besides playing bingo, you can also chat with other players.

Upon closer inspection, Happy Tiger's in-house bingo software is neat and simple to use. However, unlike most popular bingo software, Happy Tiger's doesn't have any built-in mini-games. This is a shame because occasionally playing mini-slots on Pragmatic Play's or Dragonfish's bingo rooms is fun and helps pass the time between rounds.

As long as Happy Tiger can only offer two variants of bingo, its selection simply cannot compete with other online bingo sites, which typically have an average of 10-15 rooms and at least three variants.

  • Bingo games: 2

The number of bingo games is an approximation at the time of writing the review. The number may change when new games are added, or providers are changed or included.

It was quite surprising when I ended up counting only around 40 games in Happy Tiger's casino lobby. On top of that, all the games are slots—there isn't a single table game, scratch card, Slingo, or live dealer game in sight.

Happy Tiger has only one game provider, Magnet Gaming. This is the first time I have seen this provider, which makes it somewhat interesting.

Notably, each game also features a super jackpot. At the time of writing this review, the largest jackpots, valued at over £24k, were found in the slots Bettys Burger and Gold Rush.

The novelty of a lesser-known game studio has limited appeal when there are only a few dozen games available. Happy Tiger might attract players who are tired of mainstream casinos and always seeing the same game providers. Unfortunately, I don't see anyone staying entertained very long with such a small game selection.

You can also read our Happy Tiger Casino review if casino games are more interesting than bingo.

Happy Tiger Bingo doesn't have a mobile app. This means you can play Happy Tiger's bingo games directly in your phone's browser without needing to download a separate app.

Happy Tiger offers a decent array of payment methods for your convenience. Choose between debit cards or online payment services - it doesn't matter which one you choose for deposits, as deposits are always instant.

The minimum deposit is £20. Technically, Happy Tiger doesn't have a minimum withdrawal limit, but do note that cashing out less than £10 occurs a £1 processing fee.

The table below shows you all the available payment options with details of transaction limits and fees.

Payment Method Min Deposit Min Withdrawal Possible Fees
Visa £20 £10 Withdrawals less than £10 include £1 fee
Mastercard £20 £10 Withdrawals less than £10 include £1 fee

The average withdrawal time at Happy Tiger Bingo is 1-3 working days. The exact time depends very much on the method you use, as you can see from the list here:

  • Mastercard: 1-3 working days
  • Visa: 1-3 working days
  • PayPal: 0-24 hours
  • Apple Pay: 0-24 hours
  • Bank transfer: 0-2 working days

PayPal, in particular, has been a popular payment method for players looking to withdraw their funds from bingo sites as quickly as possible. If you want to see which other sites accept this payment method, check out every PayPal bingo site we've reviewed.

Happy Tiger provides support via live chat, email, and mobile. Their telephone hours start at 10 a.m. on business days and at 2 p.m. on weekends, and they serve you every day until 8 p.m.

If you'd rather write them an email, you can do so by addressing the message to support@happytiger.co.uk. Alternatively, you can navigate to the support page of the site and open a contact form.

The site also features a FAQ page with a compact list of topics, which might be helpful for any generic questions or issues.

Overall, I'm fairly happy with Happy Tiger's support options. Of course, 24/7 service would be even better, but I still prefer quality over quantity at any time.

As a UKGC-licensed online bingo site, Happy Tiger Bingo must verify the age and identity of each player. Verification is a simple three-step process:

  1. Upload a form of identification (ID card, passport, residence permit, or driving licence) to the site.
  2. Take a selfie and upload the photo to the site.
  3. Upload proof of address to Happy Tiger Bingo (this could be a utility bill, for example).

Happy Tiger Bingo asks you to upload these documents immediately after registration or, in some cases, later if the electronic check conducted during registration did not detect anything that would've raised flags.

Documents are uploaded through Happy Tiger's own upload page, which is convenient and user-friendly. You can upload documents from your computer or use your mobile phone. I would recommend using your phone, as the second step requires to take a selfie.

Happy Tiger Bingo is a UKGC-licensed bingo site, which means that the site must adhere to the rules of the UK's gaming authority and meet requirements regarding player safety and game fairness.

Happy Tiger Bingo must also provide players with adequate tools for responsible gaming as part of monitoring player safety.

You can set deposit limits, take a short break from playing, or set self-exclusion from the site altogether if you feel that gambling has lost its enjoyment.

I recommend setting deposit limits, even if you feel you don't have an issue with gambling. A deposit limit is an easy way to ensure you don't gamble beyond your means or more than you originally intended.

Remember, gambling is not a solution to financial problems or a way to make money. In the long run, the house always wins.

Happy Tiger wasn't quite what you were looking for? Here are some hand-picked alternatives from our reviewed bingo sites:

  • Rhino Bet Bingo: Mainly known as a casino and sports betting site, Rhino.bet launched its bingo vertical in early 2024. It utilises the renowned bingo software from Pragmatic Play and provides approx. 10 exciting rooms.
  • Bingo Loft: Small but spicy, Bingo Loft offers around a dozen bingo rooms from Dragonfish. The cheapest tickets cost only a few pennies, and some rooms carry progressive jackpots to be won.
  • Mecca Bingo: Mecca Bingo is a multi-awarded site with nearly 30 bingo rooms powered by Playtech. Have fun with excellent bingo games and daily promotions with great prizes.
