Sporting Index, which employs around 300 people, opened its first website in 2001, and as of 2019, the site also offers fixed odds betting for its UK customers. Read more & check out this UKCG licensed betting site and discover both sides of bookie: spread betting and fixed odds.

As mentioned earlier, Sporting Index offers two different ways to bet, which naturally means two types of individual odds. Spread betting odds varies on how many units are bought and sold. In general, the return rates in spread markets are higher than in traditional betting.

The theoretical payout percentage with fixed odds is about 93%. The number is quite decent and wins the comparison with many other UK bookies. The best odds in the Sporting Index fixed odds section is available for MLB games with a return rate of over 95%.

Sporting Index is a versatile betting site where you can bet with spread betting and fixed-odds markets. Both markets contain a good selection of betting odds, but the fixed odds market has a few more sports to bet on.

There is also a slight difference in the number of sub-markets that stand up for the fixed odds market. Unfortunately, both markets have two major flaws: eSports and virtual sports.

Both sports are pretty popular among bettors, but there is no way to bet on them with Sporting Index. The fixed odds A-Z menu is simple-looking and easy to use, as shown in the screenshots above.

Sporting Index is one of the first bookmakers to offer the cashout feature. They actually declare that they introduced the whole "cashing out" to the world. Whether the claim is accurate or not, the site offers its customers a convenient cash-out service that allows them to grab winnings or reduce losses before the final whistle of the event.

You can use either partial cashout or take out your whole stake before the even officially finishes.

Sporting Index is not only a reliable pre-match bookie but also a fine place to place bets on in-play markets. Bettors can move from one betting market to another and easily make wagers between live events thanks to the user-friendly interface.

The number of sports available for live betting is limited, and it doesn't stand up to comparison with all the major competitors. However, while there are a limited number of events, each in-play event includes a massive range of odds for betting.

Sporting Index offers its customer the opportunity to download their dedicated sports betting app from Google Play Store and IOS App Store. The betting app includes example these features:

  • Popular sports quick links
  • Betting highlights on the home screen
  • Recently viewed markets
  • Full bet history access
  • Deposit and withdraw funds with ease

However, if you don't want to download the Sporting Index app separately, you can get all the above features and much more working seamlessly on your smartphone's mobile browser.

The brand wants to keep its customer's personal and financial details secured. Sporting Index uses the latest web standard cryptographic protocols, like Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, to encrypt transaction data.

To help their players towards responsible gambling, Sporting Index offers the option to set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits with the facility to activate either a cool-off or self-exclusion period.

The Sporting Index customer service team assists and advises customers daily from 08:00 AM - 11:00 PM. There are several ways to contact customer service, including live chat, email, telephone or traditional mail. It is also possible to send questions to staff via the brand's various social media channels.

You might have already heard the phrase "Know Your Customer". This so-called KYC process is mandatory for every UKGC licensed betting site. Therefore Sporting Index also must verify the true identity of each of its customers.

FAQ of the Sporting Index betting site

Sporting Index isn't the best choice of bookmaker for you if you're looking for quick access to your winnings. There are only a couple of options available when it comes to withdrawal methods, and the times are always between 3-5 working days.

Sporting Index is it's own company, as they are owned by Sporting Index ltd.

You can contact the helpful team at Sporting Index via email, live chat and telephone.
