The best 36-ball bingo sites are listed below:

  1. Sun Bingo - £50 + 50 bonus spins
  2. Fabulous Bingo - £40 + 40 bonus spins

1. Sun Bingo

Sun Bingo logo

The best 36-ball bingo site is Sun Bingo.

Sun Bingo is a site owned by one of the UK's most famous tabloids (guess which one!). It offers 36-ball bingo in the form of Cash Cubes.

In addition, the site features a wide range of other bingo variants, as well as a good selection of casino games. The site, designed for mobile users, works seamlessly on phones and tablets, and the minimum deposit is just £5.

The review of Sun Bingo does mention, however, that customer support could be improved and that game selection could benefit from better organisation.

2. Fabulous Bingo

At Fabulous Bingo, even a grey day can turn fabulous. Branded after the Fabulous Magazine, this site offers Virtue Fusion's bingo software, through which you'll find the 36-ball game Cash Cubes.

Our full Fabulous Bingo review reveals that the site is known for its numerous promotions and good bonuses for new players. However, our experts were not convinced by the lack of 24/7 support or the fact that all bingo rooms are only visible after registration.

Fabulous Bingo supports many popular payment methods, such as cards and e-wallets. Withdrawals are a bit slow, but at least the site promises to process all cashout requests within 24 hours.

4. Kitty Bingo

It might be cute and fluffy, but Kitty Bingo is also an excellent site for playing 36-ball bingo. Through the site's bingo software, you can find Cash Cubes, which is currently one of the most popular 36-ball games.

According to our expert review of Kitty Bingo, the site's strengths include low transfer limits (£5), daily rewards, and a comprehensive selection of bingo games.

However, there could be more payment options available, but when it comes to withdrawals, Kitty Bingo can be incredibly fast, delivering funds in as little as 15 minutes.

How We Rate 36 Ball Bingo Sites

How we rate 36-ball bingo sites on Bojoko

We rate 36-ball bingo sites by reviewing and evaluating their bonuses, usability, game selection, customer support, and payment methods.

Next, we compare our findings with those of previously reviewed bingo sites, but our assessments primarily rely on our own experiences and a carefully calculated mathematical formula. You can find this formula on our main page of bingo reviews online.

Bojoko's goal is to provide readers with reliable and accurate bingo reviews that offer the best possible insight into what a bingo site is like from a player's perspective. To achieve this, we thoroughly research and test each site ourselves—if the experience is good, it is reflected in our ratings and written reviews.

Similarly, if our overall experience is poor or we find areas that need improvement on the site, we make sure to highlight these in our reviews as well.

We will continue to keep our approach transparent and player-focused so that you can continue to find useful content and tools to help you choose the best bingo site.

How To Play 36 Ball Bingo Online

To play 36-ball bingo, the first step is to choose a bingo site that offers this rarer bingo variant. You can check our list of 36-ball bingo sites and select the one that suits you best.

After that, open the game and follow these steps:

  1. Start the game: Purchase a card for the game and wait for the countdown to reach zero. Once the countdown hits zero, you can no longer buy a card for this round.
  2. Mark off the numbers: As the game begins, you will see and hear numbers being drawn from 1 to 36. However, you don't need to mark the numbers on your card yourself—the game will handle everything automatically for you.
  3. End of the game: The game ends when a player achieves a Full House by marking off all the numbers on their card. Depending on the game, there may also be additional winners before the Full House, such as players who manage to complete a specific winning pattern on their card.

36 Ball Bingo Rules

The rules of 36-ball bingo vary between games because 36-ball bingo is not a standalone bingo variant in the same way as 90-ball or 80-ball bingo.

As a result, you won't typically find a standard 36-ball game but rather themed games that use 36 balls.

However, we can use one of Virtue Fusion's most popular 36-ball games, Cash Cubes, as an example of 36-ball bingo rules:

Cash Cubes 36-Ball Rules

In Cash Cubes Bingo, each card contains four cubes, with each side of a cube displaying a number between 1 and 36. This means a single card has a total of 12 numbers.

Every player can purchase only one card, but they can choose its value:

  • Orange cubes: 10p
  • Green cubes: 50p
  • Purple cubes: £1
  • Red cubes: £2

At the start of the game, numbers on the card that match the called numbers are highlighted in yellow. If every side of a cube is marked, the cube breaks and moves to a designated area at the bottom of the card.

Each game has a single winner: the player who gets a Full House by breaking all the cubes on their card.

Cash Cubes also features a special mechanic called Cube Collection. Every broken cube is added to a personal collection, and once a player collects 50 cubes of the same colour, they win a cash prize. At best, this can be £10 for every 50 red cubes.

Cash Cubes may also include a progressive jackpot, with a starting seed of £500.

36 Ball Bingo Cards

The appearance of a 36-ball bingo card is not set in stone, as there is no standardised version of the 36-ball variant. Therefore, the cards in this game can look like almost anything.

The example images below showcase a couple of variations of 36-ball cards that you may encounter on online bingo sites.

What 36-ball bingo cards can look like

36 Ball Bingo Patterns

In 36-ball bingo, the winning patterns are determined by the game. In many 36-ball games, there is only one winner, the player who achieves a Full House.

However, there are also games where there are multiple winners. For example, in the 36-ball version of Fluffy Favourites Bingo, there can be two winners;

  1. The player who marks off one complete four-symbol group
  2. The player who gets a Full House by marking off all 16 symbols

New 36 Ball Bingo Sites

New 36-ball bingo sites are quite rare. There are a couple of reasons for this: this game format is nowhere near as popular as, for example, 90-ball bingo, and not many game studios produce 36-ball bingo. Currently, the only provider of 36-ball games is Virtue Fusion by Playtech.

You can check out our new bingo sites online page instead, which features all the latest UK-licensed bingo sites we have reviewed.

Bonuses for 36 Ball Bingo

What bonuses you can get at 36-ball bingo sites

Bonuses for 36-ball bingo are available when you register a new account on your chosen bingo site. Currently, the welcome bonuses for 36-ball bingo sites typically include bonus money ranging from £20 to £40 and 50-100 bonus spins.

Compared to other bingo offers UK, the bonuses for 36-ball bingo sites are fairly average. They often come with relatively easy terms, but in some cases, the wagering requirements can feel higher than what you can find elsewhere.

Unfortunately, bonuses for 36-ball bingo sites rarely include free bonuses, such as free bingo tickets or spins for slots. However, some bonuses or parts of bonus packages might be wagering-free, which makes these offers more attractive.

Alternatives to 36 Ball Bingo

Alternative bingo games generally offer more variety than 36-ball bingo. Many bingo sites feature categories for showcasing top bingo games to play, and 90-ball and 80-ball games often dominate these lists.

Here are some other bingo games featured on Bojoko:

90-Ball Bingo

90-ball bingo cards illustration

90-ball bingo is a classic favourite across all UK bingo sites, and it's the most familiar variant for many players.

In a 90-ball bingo game, players use cards with a 3x9 grid with 15 numbers and blank spaces. There are three possible winners: one-line bingo, two-line bingo, and Full House.

The top 90 ball bingo sites offer various versions of this beloved game. It's a good idea to explore different bingo software providers' games as well, as they might include unique features you can't find anywhere else.

80-Ball Bingo

80-ball bingo card illustration

80-ball bingo is a variant familiar to many from bingo halls. It is also one of the most common games found on online bingo sites, with studios such as Pragmatic Play, Gamesys, and Virtue Fusion being known for their exciting 80-ball bingo games.

In 80-ball games, the cards feature a 4x4 grid, and numbers between 1 and 80 are used. During a single round, there can be multiple winners, and winning patterns are not necessarily limited to horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines.

Our 80 ball bingo site is a great guide for beginners, and you can also find sites where to play.

75-Ball Bingo

75-ball bingo card illustration

75-ball bingo is a classic variant and is particularly popular in the United States and Canada. The 5x5 grid, with the centre space being a Free Space, is the most commonly used bingo card model.

75 ball bingo online is easy and quick to learn. There are usually multiple winners per round, as the game allows for 1-4 line wins in addition to the Full House.

You can find 75-ball games on almost every bingo site operating in the UK, as most active bingo providers have included this variant in their selections.

30-Ball Bingo

30-ball bingo card illustration

30-ball bingo is like a lite version of the 75-ball variant. The fast-paced game uses cards with only 9 numbers arranged in a 3x3 grid.

The game is quick because of the smaller number range and the fact that there can only be one winner with a Full House.

You can find 30 ball bingo on most bingo sites, especially if the sites use Pragmatic Play's bingo software.

FAQ

36-ball bingo is a type of bingo game that uses 36 balls. It's not a regular variant, meaning there's no base game of how the game or cards should look or what rules it follows.

36-ball games are also only playable online, so you won't find this one at physical bingo halls.

The most notable 36-ball bingo games are Cash Cubes and Fluffy Favourites 36, which are both developed by Virtue Fusion (Playtech).

You can play 36-ball bingo online at sites such as Sun Bingo, Kitty Bingo, Betfred Bingo, and Fabulous Bingo.

To win 36-ball bingo, you need to achieve a certain winning pattern on your purchased bingo card(s).

The patterns vary between games, so it's important to check the game rules before buying any tickets.

What makes 36-ball bingo different from other bingo games is it's not a variant on its own, like 90-ball and 80-ball bingos are.

This means that you will not find a bingo game that's purely just 36-ball bingo but rather themed games made into 36-ball versions.

Yes, 36-ball bingo can be suitable for beginners.

This is because, to play 36-ball bingo online, you don't really need to know how the game is played.

You only need to know the basics of how online bingo games work: You buy one or several cards, wait for the game to begin, and then see if you win.

However, to get the most out of the game and understand your odds, it's best to check out the game rules. These should always be found on an info pane within the game.
