Summary

Grosvenor Casino Online - One of The UK's Leading Casinos

Grosvenor Casino is a household name, boasting several brick-and-mortar casinos across Britain. You might have visited one in coastal towns such as Blackpool or Brighton at some point or another. Since the 1970s, they have exponentially grown, taking over Gala in 2013 and having an online presence.

Grosvenor Casinos has done a pretty good job of making the leap online, but it's not without its minor irritations.

When signing up as a new player, I was asked if I had an existing Grosvenor Casino membership number from their brick-and-mortar casinos. There's also the option to join the exclusive Grosvenor One programme. Membership means you can deposit, withdraw and play with your funds online or in one of their local UK casinos. These crossovers create a real feel that their online and offline worlds are merging; it's very smart!

Nowadays, Grosvenor Casinos offers players variety when it comes to gaming, a mobile platform and a range of casino promotions to keep the fun flowing. We have recognised it as one of the top UK licensed casino sites on the market.

Appearance-wise, the site has a classy feel with its deep blue and white colour scheme. Thanks to the clean menu design, I found it easy to navigate on both mobile and desktop.

Grosvenor Casino is a name you already know, a name that is a long-standing institute.

Grosvenor Casino Sign Up Bonus

Start off with a quick boost to your bankroll. Deposit £20 and play with £50.

Follow the below steps to claim your welcome offer:

Grosvenor is offering an attractive welcome bonus that won't blow anyone away, but it's what I'd call a solid cash bonus.

When you first look at the short bonus terms on the casino page, the wagering requirement seems pretty reasonable, even below the industry standard. Unfortunately, reading the terms reveals that both the bonus and the deposit need to be wagered 30 times. This bumps it up above the standard of 35x for the bonus sum only.

They have added a £2,000 maximum win for the bonus, but that is still a big leap for a bonus of this size. Do note that the original bonus amount is non-withdrawable, so you have to consider that.

Though the bonuses, in general, may not be huge, you don't spend all your time just trying to get through the wagering. In short, this is a better deal than it looks on the surface. If it's not your kind of bonus, check our full list of different casino bonuses and find the best ones for you.

Significant terms: New customers only. Min deposit £20 (exc. PayPal). Max bonus £30, bonus amount non-withdrawable, playable on selected games only. 30x wagering for £30 bonus. Expires within 30 days. Max win £2,000. T&Cs apply. Full terms and Bonus terms apply. GambleAware.org.

Grosvenor Casino Bonus Code

You don't need a promo code to claim Grosvenor's welcome bonus.

Compare Grosvenor Casinos Bonus

Compared to many other casino welcome offers, Grosvenor's bonus is quite small. However, it's a solid cash bonus with very clear terms and conditions. You know exactly what you are getting and what are the wagering requirements, so there are no hidden surprises here.

Grosvenor Casino Game Suppliers

Grosvenor has a good amount of different game providers on their site, which brings a nice variety to the games. You'll find the top names, such as Microgaming, NetEnt, Yggdrasil, Quickfire and Evolution, in their game library.

NetEnt Microgaming WMS (Williams Interactive) Yggdrasil Play'n GO NYX IGT
Evolution Gaming

With more than 900 online slots to pick and choose from, slot lovers have plenty of games available at the click of a button. Some of the most popular titles, include Mega Moolah, Starburst, and Book of Ra.

On top of this, Grosvenor Casino has a range of progressive jackpot slots as well as Daily Jackpots. Daily jackpots are slot games with a jackpot guaranteed to drop on a daily basis.

Amongst some of the most popular jackpot games, there is Wheel of Fortune, Cleopatra, Ocean Belles and Rainbow Jackpots. Some of these jackpots, run in the millions.

Grosvenor Casinos hasn't forgotten about table game fans. You can access an array of game variations such as Blackjack and Roulette with bets, starting from as little as 20p.

Overall the site ticks along nicely and it's pretty well laid out. I managed to find everything I wanted to play through the search function, it's pretty cool that it updates as you type. One major gripe is the lack of a ‘favourites' with no option to star or save games you like.

My recently played slots show up at the bottom of the account menu but it's just not the same. That small addition would make a big difference to players.

Desktop Game Information

  • Games: 1100
  • Slots: 930
  • Table games: 60
  • Jackpot games: 115

If you want to kick up your gaming experience up a notch, head to the Live Casino section, where you'll find live dealer games in abundance.

The live casino section seems to be a big focus on the site which reflects the real-world beginnings of Grosvenor. Some of the streams come live from their casino in London Victoria.

Powered by the likes of Evolution Gaming, you can play old favourites, and new live dealer titles.

Besides classics such as Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette, you can play Lightning Baccarat, Live Poker, Deal or No Deal and Monopoly Live.

You can chat to the dealers as you play your hand at Blackjack, Baccarat, 3 Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Holdem then spread your chips around or lump on your favourite number at the Live Roulette tables.

I did find it irritating that not all the games were live despite the thumbnails showing in the lobby. Clicking an unavailable title kicked me back to a different lobby with live thumbnails which was super confusing. It would be better if they used live thumbnails for all the games in the live casino lobby.

Live Game Information

Whether you are a slots fan or a live casino player, Grosvenor Casino has created the ideal app, available for download from AppStore or Google Play.

The same clean site design appears in the mobile version too. I particularly like the way the games menu is at the top of the screen and the deposit and account settings stuff is at the bottom. It's a smart use of space on smaller screens.

Enjoy the sleek dual navigation of the Live Casino App, track nationwide live events and stats with the Poker App, or Bet-in-Play and enjoy Cash-Out functionality with the new Grosvenor Sport App.

The main Grosvenor Casinos App does it all – with a huge selection of games and ways to bet, including slots, poker, live casino and sport – in one comprehensive package.

I downloaded the Grosvenor Android app (iOS available too) which looks and works the same as the in-browser mobile version. The app was just slightly quicker to use so it's definitely worth downloading it. Just be aware that you'll need to turn on your GPS for the app to work. This is so it can verify that you are playing within the UK.

You can sign up to Grosvenor Casino, safe in the knowledge, that they use the latest SSL encryption technology to protect your personal and financial information.

They offer the basic banking methods: Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and Paysafacard. Safe to say, these are the most common choices for UK players. However, it would have been useful to add some e-wallets. For example, Neteller casinos are very popular and many UK players prefer using this handy e-wallet.

Below you can see all the available methods, their limits and possible fees.

Payment method Min deposit Min withdrawal Possible fees
Visa £5 £5 -
Mastercard £5 £5 -
Apple Pay £5 £5 -
PayPal £10 £5 -
Paysafecard £5 -

When it comes to withdrawals, it took 8 hours 25 minutes for my withdrawal to go from pending to complete at Grosvenor Casino. I'd requested it using a Visa debit card and it took the full 3 days to hit my UK bank account.

The withdrawal times varies depending on the chosen method. See the estimated times below.

  • Mastercard: 3-5 working days
  • Visa: 3-5 working days
  • Wire transfer: 3-5 working days
  • PayPal: 0-3 working days
  • Apple Pay: 0-3 working days

Grosvenor Casino has made its website relatively straightforward. However, should you require to get in touch with them, or have a question or query, they have a customer support team available between 8 a.m. and 11.59 p.m., 7 days a week.

When contacting the support, they responded to my question about how long my withdrawal would take quickly and asked if there was anything else I needed help with. The response to my email about deposits came back in under 2 hours so live chat is the way to go for super urgent stuff.

What I found really annoying was that clicking on live chat brings up a new tab. The chatbox is obviously built for mobile so just looks odd on a desktop as a thin strip in the middle of the screen. A pop-up box on the actual site would be much nicer and safer for switching tabs when chatting to the support guys.

In their commitment to Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance, players at Grosvenor Casino are asked to prove their identity by submitting the following documents:

  • Proof of ID (passport, driving license, ID card)
  • Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, official government letter)
  • Proof of Payment Method

Despite creating an account, depositing, winning and then withdrawing my funds, I was never asked for any further documentation or ID. The automatic verification worked like a charm, and all I needed to provide were the regular details which are given during any casino signup such as DOB, address and email.

There isn't a dedicated section for verification in the account menu either. If they did require anything, this would appear in your account "message" section but having an easy-to-check page would be more reassuring here.

Whether you are playing at one of Grosvenor's brick-and-mortar casinos or bingo halls or online, Grosvenor Casino wants to curb problem gambling.

  • Self-Exclusion
  • Set Limits

Alternatively, Grosvenor Casino's customer support team is available on hand to recommend charities and organisations that can give you professional assistance.

Organisations, such as Gamstop and GamCare are available to offer guidance.
