What Is Money Drop Live?
Money Drop Live is a live casino game show from Playtech that you can play in online casinos. The game was released in 2021 and is based on the hit TV quiz show The Million Pound Drop, or later the £100k Drop.
The game is a wheel-of-fortune-style game where you bet on which sector the wheel will stop at. Every round the sectors have different random bonus features on them, which can increase your payouts or let you play the Money Drop bonus game.
Money Drop Live is not the most common game show available, and is listed only on some of the Playtech UK casinos.
How to Play Money Drop Live
To play Money Drop Live, you just need to choose your bet level, add a wager on any of the sectors you hope to see, and then wait for the round to start.
At the beginning of each round, you are presented with all the possible betting spots at the bottom of the screen. You can choose how much you want to bet on each.
When the round starts, the random bonus features are added to the sectors, and if that one wins, the bonus feature is also triggered.
- Double: The multiplier is doubled for this round
- 1 Drop Round: One round of Money Drop with the multiplier being between 15x and 30x
- 2 Drop Rounds: Two consecutive rounds of Money Drop with 30x - 250x multiplier
- 3 Drop Rounds: Three consecutive rounds of Money Drop with 1,000x - 2,500x multiplier
- 2 Zones Win: One round of Money Drop but two squares will win
- Quick Drop: One Drop round, but you can only put money on one square
Money Drop Round
When a Money Drop round activates, and you have bet on that sector, you get to participate in the Money Drop game. Some Money Drop rounds allow you to buy yourself into that round.
First, you are paid your wager times the sector multiplier. Then, that money is taken to the Money Drop game.
You can choose how you spread that money between the four squares, and you must use all of it. Only one of those squares will light up green and all the money on that will be paid out.
Winning on a Money Drop round does not add to the total amount. The game itself has high multipliers to compensate for this round.
Card Clash Bonus Game
The wheel has one bonus game sector called Card Clash. If you bet on it and the wheel stops on it, you get to join the round.
You first bet on either blue or red, and then those colours play three rounds of highest card wins.
Your payout depends on the outcome of the three rounds. The best win is if you get three ties in a row.
