Overview of Mint Bingo

Mint Bingo is currently undergoing a change of ownership. During this transitional period, we are not promoting this casino. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to bringing you the new review of Mint Bingo once this process is complete.

In the meantime, you can check out our recommendations below.

Mint Bingo is a minty-fresh bingo operator from 2020. This operator boasts a diverse collection of games, including slot games, online scratch cards and, of course, online bingo.

From the moment you land on the page, you are greeted by a clean and vibrant user interface that is easy on the eye without cramming in too much information at once. A clean design with elegant navigation and a good mix of bingo and slot games make Mint Bingo a solid casino to spend some time in. Getting registered is easy and within less than two minutes I was ready to deposit.

There are tens of bingo games to choose from, but depending on the time you visit, you might find some of the prizes to be underwhelming.

As for slots, there are hundreds of games to choose from. If you're a NetEnt fan, then you definitely won't find yourself getting bored at Mint Bingo.

Previously owned and operated by the 888 Holdings group, this bingo site has since migrated to the ownership of Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited.

Mint Bingo bonuses

Mint Bingo has a bonus offer that gives something to the casino player as well as the bingo enthusiast.

This is a nice little bonus you can claim with just a tenner and get another £10 added to your balance along with 50 bonus spins on Starburst. I do, however, have a few things I'd like to point out:

First, there is a 4x wagering requirement on any Bingo Bonus winnings, which is generally okay in comparison. On the other hand, the Bonus Spin winnings must be wagered 99x before you can make a withdrawal. And, if this isn't enough, there's even a win cap of £100 plus the original bonus amount.

This seemingly light bonus is quite heavy with wagering requirements and the win cap, so in my eyes, it doesn't hold much real value other than having some extra to play with. The ridiculous wagering requirements, together with the win cap, pretty much guarantee that you'll be walking out with empty hands.

Bonus comparison

Mint Bingo's bonus is a rather small one and comes with heavy terms. But how minty is the welcome offer when stacked up against other casinos?

Game suppliers

The versatility of Mint Bingo's game suppliers is fantastic. You get access to both big and small game developers, with the likes of Yggdrasil, Evolution, Pragmatic Play, and Blueprint included.

As I was depositing, I started on some of the free bingo games. Here you can win anything from real money to bonus bingo money. There were no wins for me here so I swapped to playing bingo with my money.

There is a good selection of rooms you can join in. These include 75-ball, 80-ball and 90-ball bingo games. Prizes can vary from a few pounds going all the way up to the 5 figures. Some have some really great progressive jackpots, but these are hard to score. Since games are funded by players, some of the bingo rooms might have prizes which leaves a lot to be desired.

But after £5 spent on bingo and my cards only coming as close as 3 to go, I decided to get to the real point of my review, the casino. So this is when I switched to the slots lobby.

Mint Bingo is home to more than 250 casino games to choose from, including from top game supplies NetEnt, Eyecon, IGT and Slingo. The combination of those names and that number means that they are all about quality over quantity. Couple of hundred games is a tiny amount compared to many other casinos, but the developers onboard are great. Sometimes it's nice to have less options to overwhelm you, but lack of variety is really noticeable here.

What I fancied, however, was a game of Vikings Go Berzerk, unfortunately, I couldn't find any Yggdrasil games here so I settled for NetEnt's Vikings. I've never watched the TV show and I promised myself I would give it a try if the slot doesn't let me down. Well, it did, and I went through something like £8 with only 3 wins totalling less than £1. It felt like nothing was happening so it was time to change slot.

After I got past the small library, my only real critique here is not being able to search the games by provider. I'm also not a fan of having games open in separate windows. Ideally, games should open within the same frame.

Mint Bingo is fully optimised to work seamlessly across a range of devices. This means that you can facilitate mobile payments and gain instant access to mobile casino games.

I accessed the site via an iOS device using Chrome and found the site to be perfectly mobile-responsive. On mobile, all games also open within the same frame. In fact, I was a lot happier with my mobile experience.

I played a few rounds of bingo which played quite well. The only problem I found was the chatbox taking a lot of the screen. This is fine when you're just chatting to other players. But when a game is on I found myself minimising the chat window which took away a bit from the experience.

On slots, it's a different matter. Playing Pariplay's Wolf Riches was a real breeze. Even when I switched from portrait to landscape, I noticed the game still rendered well, something which doesn't often happen.

Mint Bingo covers the basics with debit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay available for transfers. You can see all methods with their limits and fees below.

Payment method Min deposit Min withdrawal Possible fees
Mastercard £10 £5 -
Visa £10 £5 -
PayPal £10 £5 -
Apple Pay £10 -

Before I deposited, I went and entered into one of the free bingo games available at Mint Bingo. While I was waiting for that to start, I proceeded with my deposit. The process is extremely simple.

When depositing, you can also insert any bonus code you might have or tick the box not to have any bonuses. I deposited £40 using my Santander Debit card, and I was immediately ready to play.

There is a minimum withdrawal of £5 and once you go ahead with your withdrawal, you will automatically forfeit any bonuses you may have.

The withdrawal times at Mint Bingo are 2-5 working days on average for all payment methods, expect for wire transfers which can take up to 7 days to process.

I submitted my withdrawal, and within 2 days I received a confirmation that it had been processed. Another 2 days later, the money was in my account.

  • Mastercard: 2-5 working days
  • Visa: 2-5 working days
  • Wire transfer: 2-7 working days
  • PayPal: 2-5 working days

Even though I didn't need any help I did go through the FAQs section found on the right-hand side menu. Here there is a very thorough collection of questions and answers which are all well categorised and easy to search through. There is a help chat button floating on the right-hand side of the casino with live chat available. You can also get in touch with support via an 0800 telephone number or even via email..

The live chat is available between 10 am and 2 am, which is really good. 24/7 would be better, but at least the support goes offline during the hours when there are relatively little activity.

One thing I really would like to see Mint Bingo improve is their email support speed. They cover their backs by saying that you will be answered within 72 hours. That is a long time to wait even though it may be the maximum wait period.

Registering an account at Mint Bingo is as simple as 4 steps, where you enter the usual details. On the second step, you will also be asked to provide the correct details for your address. This is because the system will make sure this is correct in order to verify the account.

As soon as all the information is filled in, the account is set up and ready to use. In the meantime, I also received an email outlining information about my account and a welcome bonus.

Mint Bingo is obliged by UK and International Gambling law to verify the age and identity of their players. This is done to protect against money laundering and fraud. It also provides players with a level of protection.

In the majority of cases, they are able to verify this information automatically. However, you'll still be requested to send in the following documentation:

  • Proof of ID (passport, driving license, ID card)
  • Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, official government letter)
  • Proof of Payment Method

When it comes to safety and security, this site is protected by the latest SSL encryption technology. This bingo operator also works with trustworthy payment vendors to keep you extra protected.

The site is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and rigorously tested by an independent test house, eCOGRA. This means that the games as well as the site have been deemed fair.

Mint Bingo is dedicated to responsible gambling and to offering players a fun gaming environment.

It is also their duty to promote responsible gambling, so they have created the below options and tools to give you better control of your gambling and spending:

  • Wagering and Deposit Limits
  • Time-Out
  • Time and Bet Limits
  • Self-Exclusion

If you or a loved one have a gambling issue, Mint Bingo strongly recommends getting in touch with organisations such as GamCare and Gamblers Anonymous.

Mint Bingo sister sites include 888 Casino Network brands such as Electric Spins, Rise Casino, and Vegas Spins Casino. You can learn more about the platform and casino family on our 888 Casinos page.

  • Electric Spins Casino: Electric Spins offers a zappy casino experience with a larger game library. It shares the same snappy usability, but also the same faults with harsh bonus terms.
  • Rise Casino: Rise Casino offers a quality platform to play on. You can enjoy slots from various leading developers here, and the performance is fantastic.
  • Vegas Spins Casino: Vegas Spins delivers a more dimmed look and feel, with a platform that is excellent for mobile players. You can win up to 450 spins with your first deposit.
