GGPoker Casino Overview

GGPoker is one of, if not the largest online poker site in the world. That being said, you can do more than just play poker here.

From its humble beginnings in 2014, GGPoker has grown into an all-in-one online casino that operates in multiple countries and has several licences across the world. And yes, they got their UKGC licence back in 2017.

If you are a casino player with no interest in poker, don't stop reading just yet. GGPoker Casino has a solid lineup of slots, table games and live casino entertainment from some of the biggest studios in the world. Casino gaming is not an afterthought here but rather a side option good enough for the pickiest casino player.

One of the unique features of GGPoker is that it is an app-only casino. You can't play in your browser like with most casinos. You must download a casino app to play and the app is available for Windows, iOS and Android.

There are some funny quirks with GGPoker, but in the end, you don't get to be the big dog in online poker and the host of the World Series of Poker without knowing how to provide an amazing gambling environment for everyone.

GGPoker Sign Up Bonus

When you join GGPoker, you get to pick your own bonus. No matter what you choose, you always get zero wagering bonus spins for slots.

And then you get the actual deposit bonus you use to play poker.

The main welcome bonus is for poker players, and if you are here only for the casino games, just deposit £10 and take the smaller bonus. You get the same no-wagering bonus spins either way.

Now, if you want to play poker, the smaller bonus gives you £60 worth of free stuff, including Spin & Gold tickets, All-in or Fold SNG tickets and more. Nice package and worth quite a bit for a small deposit.

The big bonus is for those who really want to play. The match bonus is unlocked as you play poker, and for each £5 you pay in rake, you get £1 of your bonus.

For a poker player, this is a hefty deal and a nice bonus. But if you are a casino player, getting 50 no-wagering bonus spins is really good.

GGPoker Bonus Code UK

You do not need a bonus code to get the bonus offer.

GGPoker Fish Buffet Bonus

When you join GGPoker and make your first deposit of at least £10, you get 50 bonus spins on Daniel Negreanu's Fish Buffet.

These spins have no wagering requirement, meaning you get to keep everything you win. To learn more about no wagering welcome bonus offers or just find more of them, we have a whole list of them here on Bojoko.

Compare GGPoker Welcome Bonus

It is clear that the GGPoker deposit bonuses are targeted at poker players. The £60 free play bonus and the 100% match bonus up to £600 are only usable for poker. Fortunately, they have that one extra offer for all new depositing players that goes above and beyond. The 50 no-wagering bonus spins on Fish Buffet is an amazing offer and one that is better than most UK casino bonuses.

First, getting 50 bonus spins for £10 deposit is nice all by itself. But when they chose to go with the 0x wagering requirement, the bonus quality shot up like a rocket.

You can compare the GGPoker first deposit bonus here and see what other casinos are offering. Just pick a site by clicking the magnifying glass and compare the deals.

GGPoker Game Providers

GGPoker has a solid lineup of some of the biggest providers in the UK casino market. There are major studios, like NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, Yggdrasil, NoLimit City and BigTimeGaming, listed on GGPoker, so you know you have a lot of quality options when it comes to games.

NetEnt Yggdrasil Play'n GO iSoftbet Evolution Gaming Playtech Big Time Gaming
NetEnt Yggdrasil Play'n GO iSoftbet Evolution Gaming Playtech Big Time Gaming
Evolution Gaming Playtech Pragmatic Play Ezugi Skywind Group

The first thing that comes to mind when saying the name GGPoker is online poker, but that's not everything this casino is about. Sure, they do have a ton of world-class poker tables, but this is also an online casino through and through.

They have big studios lined up, like NetEnt, Play'n GO and Pragmatic Play, which means you get both quality and quantity. There are over 2,400 games in total for you to play, which is the average that you'd expect from a solid UK online casino.

The games are organised nicely, but I feel like I must point out the somewhat aged visual style they went with. Like, the menus are good, and you have search features and all, but the way the buttons and menus are done screams 2010s. But the fact is that a great game library beats great visual design any day of the week. We are here to play games, after all.

And I do like it when casinos have plenty of different game categories available. Listing all the new slots is a must, and having things like jackpots and Megaways makes it easier to try out different things.

All in all, GGPoker is a wonderful site even if you don't care about poker one bit. They have everything you need, even if all you do is play slots and casino games. And that is quite a compliment for a site that was built for poker alone.

Desktop Game Information

  • Games: 2400
  • Slots: 1600
  • Table games: 100
  • Jackpot games: 30
  • Crash games: 5

If you want to experience casino gambling just like in brick-and-mortar casinos, then GGPoker is the site for you. They have gone all out with their live casino section.

When you have studios like Pragmatic Play and Evolution at your fingertips, you know you are in for a good time. These two are the biggest live casino providers in the world, and they know how to make good games. And let's not forget Playtech, Ezugi, Skywind and all the other smaller live studios they have.

The game lobby has everything you need but could use a little touching up. To me, it looks extremely busy. Yes, there are good categories, lots of options and so on, but there's just so much going on at once. I had to really focus to find what I was after. A little more space here and there could do wonders here.

But that does not diminish the fact that you get access to a ton of games of all kinds. No matter what you want to play, GGPoker has it, no questions there.

Live Game Information

  • Total number of live casino games: 600

The number of games is an approximation at the time of writing the review. The numbers may change as new games are added.

One of the big, unique features of GGPoker Casino is the app. You can only play here using their downloadable app, which is available for Windows, iOS and Android.

This means that you can easily access the site with any device, but you need to take a small extra step first and install it. This has been a common practice on poker sites, and it helps the operators maintain a stable and reliable gambling environment.

Using the app is very easy. The user interface is nice, and they have clearly put effort into designing it. If you are looking for an Android casino or an iPhone casino that works with an app, this might just be the one for you, then.

There is one thing I do want to mention. Be ready to turn your phone's screen brightness up if you feel lost at any point. The dark grey visual style sometimes hides some of the input fields. I had difficulties verifying my phone number until I figured out that I just didn't see the box I needed to tap to input my digits.

GGPoker has a good number of different deposit methods available for UK players. These include debit cards, Ewallets and open banking solutions.

The casino operates completely in US Dollars but accepts deposits and pays out in other currencies as well. This means you can deposit and withdraw pounds, but its all converted into USD, and within the casino, your account will show your funds in USD.

The deposits don't have any fees and are instantaneous, and the smallest amount you can deposit is $10.

All withdrawals are subject to a $1 processing fee. It isn't much, but not something you want to see. Casinos should cover these costs and just pay everything in full. Even though a dollar is not a lot, you might want to consider how you withdraw funds. Multiple small transactions may end up costing more instead of doing one larger withdrawal.

Payment method Min deposit Min withdrawal Fees
Mastercard $10 $10 $1 withdrawal fee
Visa $10 $10 $1 withdrawal fee
PayPal $10 $10 $1 withdrawal fee
Apple Pay $10 $10 $1 withdrawal fee
Trustly $10 $10 $1 withdrawal fee
Skrill $10 $10 $1 withdrawal fee
Neteller $10 $10 $1 withdrawal fee
MuchBetter $10 $10 $1 withdrawal fee

The average withdrawal time on GGPoker is 1-2 business days.

The speed of your withdrawal depends on a few factors. First is your account verification. For all verified accounts, the withdrawals are processed within 24 hours, but if there are any issues, this might take up to 72 hours.

This is quite good in comparison to the average UK casino, but not quite what the fastest ones do. You can check out here what the fastest UK online casinos listed on Bojoko are.

The second factor is your chosen transfer method. E-wallets are the fastest option and usually instantaneous after the request has been processed. Debit card transfers may take up to 3 days to show up.

Here are the estimated transfer speeds:

  • Visa: 1-3 working days
  • Mastercard: 1-3 working days
  • Trustly: 0-2 working days
  • PayPal: 0-2 working days
  • Apple Pay: 0-2 working days
  • Skrill: 0-1 working days
  • Neteller: 0-1 working days
  • MuchBetter: 0-2 working days

Customer support on GGPoker is one of its weak points, in a way. There are no issues with the quality of the service, but the issue is with its accessibility.

You can contact customer support only via email. Just send a message to or use the bubble icon at the bottom of the screen. The one that looks like a live chat button. They usually answer in a few hours, but live support is something you should provide.

GGPoker does have quite an extensive FAQ with a powerful search feature. Just type in a word or two and you get a list of questions and answers related to your search.

I'm all for FAQs when they are done right. Some people just want to read at their own pace and learn that way. There are times, though, when I want live support. When I have a serious issue or problem relating to money, I want someone on the line quickly.

  • Email support: ✅
  • Live support: ❌
  • Phone support ❌

When you join GGPoker, you need to verify your account before you can start playing. This is part of the KYC process, or Know Your Customer, and it is a mandatory legal requirement for casinos.

Email and phone verifications need to be done first, and the casino will prompt you when they require more documents.

When you are asked, you need to provide documents as proof of your personal information, which may include:

  • Proof of Identity (ID card, Passport, Driving licence, etc.)
  • Proof of Address (Utility bill, Government letter, etc.)
  • Proof of Deposit (Photo of your card, online bank screenshot, etc.)

GGPoker has been licensed in several regions worldwide, including the United Kingdom, with the UKGC gambling licence.

Having multiple major gambling licences means that the casino is safe and responsible. Being able to fulfil all the legal requirements is not a small task. Even though being a UK licensed online casino is the most important thing, other big licenses are something you want to see.

Responsible gambling is something GGPoker pays a lot of attention to. Making sure their players can enjoy gambling safely and have the tools to limit their deposits and bets is a key feature. You can set these account limits to make sure you can keep your gambling under control.

They also provide you with quick access to external help services, should you or someone you know need help or just want to talk about their gambling habits.

GGPoker is a unique casino site that has no sister sites. But if this is not quite up your alley, there are several alternatives you might want to try out, like these:

  • Swift Casino review: Swift is an amazing casino for players on the go. This is a smooth and fast online casino that has a great design and is easy on all devices.
  • Casino Casino review: Casino Casino is quite forward with its name and doesn't beat around the bush. This site is all about slots and casino games, and the big game library and sweet slot bonuses emphasise it quite nicely.
  • Onyx Slots review: Onyx Slots is a site that goes in a different direction. This one is a pocket-sized online casino that focuses on usability and simplicity rather than just having everything. This is the perfect on-the-go casino.
  • Monster Casino review: Monster Slots is a traditional online casino. It is part of the Aspire Global casino family, which means that if you like this, then there are several sites that have the same look and feel.

GGPoker is owned and operated by NSUS Limited in Ireland.

Yes, GGPoker is a safe casino. It has several gambling licences, including the United Kingdom Gambling Commission licence.
