Metal Casino Quick Review

Metal Casino makes you feel like a rock megastar from the get-go. Since launching in 2017, they have combined heavy guitar sounds with an online casino concept. This turned heads amongst players who love rock and metal music and want to have a rockin' time!

The first thing that strikes you about the Metal Casino is its unique design and eye-catching theme, which give an affirming nod to heavy metal and cult rock bands like Black Sabbath.

The team behind the brand is made up of a tight-knit team of casino friends and metalheads, bringing together more than 30 years of combined experience in gaming, music and tech companies.

With a six-string guitar acting as a background, along with cards and chips, the sleek black interface helps you navigate around the site with ease, without having to look hard to find what you are looking for.

The awesome thing about Metal Casino is that not only do they want you to have a good time, but also do so responsibly. That means real-deal licences, big-name game providers, trusted payment methods and round-the-clock customer support.

However, there are issues for the site to address, with its welcome bonus a little underwhelming and unlikely to appeal to either low or high-rollers.

Metal Casino Bonus and Promotions

Start off your metal journey with the following bonus on your first deposit.

There are a couple of things to bear in mind when making your first deposit and claiming the bonus. Firstly, you'll be automatically promoted to credit your account with £50 when you click through the ‘Deposit icon' in the top right-hand corner of the homepage, while the minimum amount you can select automatically is £20.

However, you can deposit as little as £10 by entering this amount manually in the box just above the deposit tab, while still qualifying for the welcome bonus.

The promotion also features hefty wagering requirements of 30x your deposit AND the bonus. With these points in mind, it's unlikely that this bonus offers enough value or potential returns to high-rollers, while the inflated wagering requirements may also be off-putting to those of you with restricted bankrolls.

Compare Metal Casino Bonus

The welcome offer is a pretty solid one, but has some heavy terms with it. This drops the real value of the offer by a mile. Compared to other casinos, the Metal casino bonus in terms of the size is okay, maybe a tad small. There are some better terms and conditions to be found from other bonuses.

Compare the bonus offer with a casino of your choice using our comparison tool and see how things stack up.

Game Suppliers

You can find a heavy metal lineup of game suppliers here. There are multiple big hitters, such as Play'n Go, NetEnt, and QuickSpin available for British players.

Expand the list below to view the full game supplier lineup.

NetEnt Microgaming Yggdrasil Play'n GO Thunderkick IGT Quickspin
Evolution Gaming Playtech Pragmatic Play Authentic Gaming

There are more than 4,000 games available at the Metal Casino, with this number including a heady mix of classic slots and unique, rock-themed titles that aren't always widely available online.

Metal Casino has created convenient categories in the casino game section to help you browse games, according to a theme. You can find amongst many options, Metal Gods, The Classics, Most Popular, Killer Games and jackpots.

They boast a bountiful game library with some of the best and most recent releases from top software providers in the industry. Games featured are from the likes of NetEnt, Evolution, Play 'n Go, Quickspin, Thunderkick, and Yggdrasil.

Amongst some of the most popular titles, there is, Guns ‘n Roses, Book of Dead, Twin Spin, Dead or Alive, Immortal Romance and Phoenix Sun. The majority of the games available here come with modern features, such as free spins bonus rounds, expanding wilds, scatters and more.

However, I did experience some issues when loading games, particularly with the aforementioned Ozzy Osbourne slot. While this took around 15 seconds to load on average, there were several instances where the game failed to load at all and instead forced me to return to the lobby.

This also happened with some of my preferred slots including Book of Dead and Mega Moolah, so you may need to be patient when loading your chosen games.

Game Information

  • Games: 4450
  • Slots: 4100
  • Table games: 300
  • Jackpot games: 350
  • Crash games: 5

The number of games is an approximation at the time of writing the review. The numbers may change when new providers are included and new games are added.

The focus of Metal Casino is on slot machines, but they also have a good selection of live dealer games available for your disposal.

You can play the likes of Casino Hold'em, Live Roulette and Dream Catcher. Since these games are highly interactive, you can chat with the dealer and other players, just as you would if you were playing at a brick-and-mortar casino.

The games come from Evolution, Authentic Gaming, Playtech and Pragmatic Play, so you know you are in for a wide variety of games, styles and betting options.

Live Game Information

  • Live casino games: 260

At present, Metal Casino doesn't operate native apps on either iOS or Android, but the good news is that you can access the mobile site through either a Safari or Chrome browser on your device.

I used my iPhone's Safari browser to access the mobile site, which borrows heavily from the desktop version to create a seamless gaming experience across different devices.

You can still access your account information through a slick drop-down menu in the top right-hand corner of the screen, for example, while the games are categorised and displayed in pretty much the same way.

The load times here are similar to the desktop version, while you can access most slots and games in either landscape or portrait mode. However, it's hard to navigate the lobby and games library in the former, so you'll have to switch between modes when transitioning from one title to another.

UK players can use cards, e-Wallets, Trustly, and prepaid Paysafecard at Metal Casino. You can see all methods, their limits, and fees below.

Payment method Min deposit Min withdrawal Possible fees
Visa £10 £20 -
Mastercard £10 £20 -
PayPal £10 £20 -
Paysafecard £10 -
Skrill £10 £20 -
Neteller £10 £20 -
Trustly £10 £20 -
Payz £10 £20 -

I completed my first deposit of £10 using a Visa debit card, with this payment processed immediately. When it came to making my first withdrawal, anti-money laundering laws required me to access a payment method that I'd previously used to credit my account, although it's good to see that you can also use Trustly and online bank transfers to transfer funds up to the value of £50,000.

Withdrawal times at Metal Casino range from 1-3 working days with cards to 0-2 working days with e-Wallets and Trustly. The fastest payouts were processed in just hours with e-Wallets, which makes Metal Casino a fast payout casino

I processed my first £10 withdrawal (which is the minimum amount that you can draw from your account at any time) using my Visa debit card, and it took a little over 24 hours to process this internally.

The funds landed in my bank account the following day, meaning that it took nearly 48 hours to complete the withdrawal overall. This is relatively okay in the current marketplace, while it's also important to note that Metal Casino has recently removed a £2.50 admin fee when processing payments using this method.

You can see the estimated times by method below:

  • Mastercard: 1-3 working days
  • Visa: 1-3 working days
  • Wire transfer: 3-5 working days
  • Skrill: 0-2 working days
  • NETELLER: 0-2 working days
  • Trustly: 0-2 working days
  • PayPal: 0-2 working days
  • Payz: 0-2 working days

If there's an area where the site needs some improvement, it's the provision of customer service.

This is definitely true in the case of the live chat feature, as while this is advertised by the brand and listed on the FAQ page I was unable to access this even when logged into my account.

More specifically, when I clicked through the ‘Open Chat' icon on the right-hand side of the FAQ page, this didn't open a new window or connect me with an agent in real-time.

I sought to clarify this by sending an email to support@metalcasino.com, which is the second channel for contacting the customer service team. Fortunately, I received a response within 10 minutes, confirming that I needed to make at least three deposits before being able to access the live chat.

I found this to be a strange and restrictive rule and one that makes little sense when you consider the other benefits and generous bonus offers extended to new players.

Still, the quick and courteous response of the team by email was reassuring, and I received a similarly swift message when raising my first question about accessing the bonus offer. This means that there's at least one reliable way of interacting with customer service agents for new players, so this should provide reassurance if you experience issues with your account.

The aforementioned FAQ page is also detailed and packed full of useful information, providing answers to a number of generic questions about bonuses, payment methods, account management and verification.

This should always be your first port of call unless you have a complex query or one that's likely to be unique to your account.

Metal Casino has various sister sites, like Lucky Vegas, PlayJango, and Slots Magic. All of these casinos are brands under the Skill On Net Casino network. You can browse all Skill On Net Casinos for the complete list, or view our recommendations below.

  • Lucky Vegas Casino: Lucky Vegas shines bright with the neon lights of Las Vegas. This casino offers a larger bonus than Metal Casino while having a similar grande-sized game library.
  • PlayJango: PlayJango Casino is a more simple and minimalistic online casino. However, it still packs a punch, with over 4,500 games in its arsenal. You can start with a 100% casino bonus here.
  • Slots Magic: Slots Magic has a bit of a mysterious vibe to it, although its otherwise a similar sister site. Check the review for a special bonus code to get started here.
