Summary

BritainBet is a nice little online casino with a solid record. They don't really have anything that you could call their own or anything that is unique, but what they have is perfectly fine.

BritainBet Casino Review: Solid Foundation That Needs a Final Polish

BritainBet invites you for a lovely stroll along the game library and to sit down and have a spin or two. Though not that original or unique, BritainBet has all what it takes to be a fine casino site.

BritainBet is operated by ProgressPlay on their own casino platform. This means it shares the same design as all the other ProgressPlay casinos, which is both a blessing and a curse. It is easy to learn, but does not have many unique features compared to the other ProgressPlay sites. This is one of those issues that may annoy more seasoned players while new players don't have experience with these sites.

After hopping in, you are greeted with a clean and simple casino lobby. The dark theme with blue accents looks very professional and stylish, but the design itself is not intimidating at all. It is a casino that is easy to pick up and use, no matter how much of a beginner you may be.

There are plenty of going right here, and some things that I would like to see improved. For example, BritainBet has a good number of different deposit and withdrawal methods, making things easy for everyone. But, the downside for all this is that they charge a fee for every withdrawal. Every time you see something great here, there is a small thing that needs tweaking.

In the end, BritainBet is a solid casino that is fine. It's not a bad place to play, but it hasn't really wowed me.

BritainBet Welcome Offer Review

BritainBet's welcome offer looks like a classic bonus of old. The kind you don't seem to get that often anymore, and I like that at least someone still has them.

What I'm talking about is the bonus size. Back in the day, getting a £200 bonus was easy; everyone had them. Now, these deals are getting rarer by the minute.

When we start looking at the details, we see that the terms are a bit harsh. 50x wagering requirement is a clear departure from the 35 that is the average in the UK. That, combined with the maximum withdrawal limit of 3x the initial bonus, does take some of the shine away.

This bonus is good if you just want to play more. You do get a lot of bonus money, more than usual these days, but getting to cash out is harder.

BritainBet Promo Code

When signing up, use the BritainBet bonus code BB200 to get your welcome bonus.

BritainBet Game Suppliers

BritainBet has a nice roster of game providers on their site. There are plenty of big names, like NetEnt, Microgaming, Play'n GO and Pragmatic Play, so you know they have a lot of classic games. There are also dozens of small suppliers for those unique experiences.

NetEnt Microgaming Play'n GO Thunderkick 1x2 Gaming Greentube Shuffle Master
Evolution Gaming Playtech

BritainBet Casino is filled with roughly 2,000 slots, which is a solid amount. Not the biggest in the business, but not a tiny one either.

With so many great providers on board, it is easy to find amazing titles here. They have all the evergreens from studios like NetEnt and Microgaming, with a lot of more unique titles from smaller studios like Neko Games and Hacksaw.

I do like the game library here. It is a good cross-section of the iGaming industry and has something for everyone. The only thing I found really missing was crash gambling games. They do have Maverick, but that's about it.

One small thing that bugs me is that you can't open the games or play their demo versions before making a deposit. Sure, you usually deposit and then play, but I like to sample the games first and then decide if I want to deposit and play at that moment.

There are a few game categories, but I would like to see more filters here. Their library is getting so big that you want to have some ways of finding specific types of games. Not just jackpots or slots, but games with specific features, like high volatility, high RTP and so on.

All in all, BritainBet is a fine casino. Nothing spectacular and groundbreaking, but does the job.

Game Information

  • Games: 2100
  • Slots: 1900
  • Table games: 40
  • Jackpot games: 100
  • Crash games: 1

These numbers are an approximation at the time of writing the review. They may change when new games are released and providers are added.

The BritainBet live casino section has a neat selection of live tables from Evolution and Playtech. There are some hundred tables available, which is a solid amount, especially when you look at the diversity.

There are all the classics, like blackjack, roulette and so on, but also a ton of game shows. It is clear that BritainBet wanted to expand their live games to cover more fun games rather than just focus on the same table games that have been available for decades.

What I would have liked to see here is better game organisation. They have a filter for blackjack, baccarat, roulette and poker but not for game shows. Sure, the library is not so massive that you can't find them, but I always want to see too many categories rather than too few.

And just like with all the other games, you can't open the tables before you have made a deposit. It's annoying, but not the end of the world.

Live Game Information

  • Total number of live casino games: 100

This number is an approximation at the time of writing the review. It may change when new games are released and providers are added.

You can play on BritainBet Casino with your phone or tablet, and it doesn't matter if you have an Android or an Apple device. The casino's website can adapt to any modern device, and playing here is smooth and easy.

BritainBet does not have a dedicated mobile app, so you don't need to download anything to play. Just head to the casino with your mobile web browser, and you're good.

BritainBet does have a sports betting app for Android, but it is not made for casino games.

BritainBet has a nice list of different deposit methods available for UK players. You have card deposits, eWallets, prepaid cards as well as mobile deposits.

The minimum deposit varies depending on the chosen method. The minimum deposit limit is only £10, but do note that the minimum to get the bonus is £20. The withdrawal minimum is a delightfully low £5, but they charge you a fee for every single withdrawal.

See the complete list of BritainBet's banking options:

Payment method Min deposit Min withdrawal Possible fees
Visa £10 £5 1% withdrawal fee up to £3
Mastercard £10 £5 1% withdrawal fee up to £3
Bank transfer £20 £5 1% withdrawal fee up to £3
Skrill £20 £20 1% withdrawal fee up to £3
Neteller £20 £10 1% withdrawal fee up to £3
Paysafecard £10 -
PayPal £10 £5 1% withdrawal fee up to £3
Neosurf £15 -
Payz £20 £20 1% withdrawal fee up to £3
Apple Pay £20 -
AstroPay £20 -
Pay by Mobile £10 15% processing fee on all deposits

Here, you can see the estimated BritainBet withdrawal times. The casino gives a generally safe estimate on these times, as most methods are generally faster than they say. In addition to the transfer times, BritainBet reserves 1 business day to process all withdrawals.

  • Visa: 3-7 working days
  • Mastercard: 3-7 working days
  • Bank Transfer: 7-10 working days
  • PayPal: 3-7 working days
  • Skrill: 0-2 working days
  • Neteller: 0-2 working days
  • Payz: 1-3 working days
  • Neosurf: 1-3 working days

BritainBet is not the fastest casino in comparison. When you want to withdraw your winnings from BritainBet, you should set your expectations accordingly and be prepared to wait a few days to get your money.

If you want something better, you can check out our casinos with fast withdrawals page.

BritainBet customer support can help you via the contact form or live chat.

The live chat button is always visible at the bottom right-hand corner. This also acts as your message centre and as a secondary FAQ. It is nice to see casinos do more with these live chat bubbles than just have a chat there.

They even show an estimate of how long it will usually take an agent to answer. Real number or not, I got an answer to my question within that time frame. Knowledgeable, polite and fast, that is how the chat experience was for me.

BritainBet, like every other licensed online casino, needs to know who their customers are. This process is known as the KYC, or Know Your Customer.

Everything starts when you sign up for an account. You first provide the casino with basic information, like name, address, phone number and email.

Behind the scenes, BritainBet will attempt to automatically verify your identity, and if they are successful, you don't need to manually upload any documents. If that fails, they will ask you for proof of your details before you can deposit.

You can manually upload all the documents at your own leisure by heading to the Cashier section and clicking Verify ID. There, you can see all the document types they require.

BritainBet is a safe casino that has a UK gambling license from the United Kingdom Gambling Commission.

The site follows all the safe gambling rules and regulations. Your personal information is kept safe, and all data transfer is encrypted.

You have plenty of information available on responsible gambling and tools to limit your account. You can set deposit, wager and loss limits, reality checks, session expiration, take breaks or even exclude yourself. If there is one thing you can be sure of, it is that the ProgressPlay platform's casinos know how to do responsible gambling well.

If you ever feel like gambling is taking too much out of you, BritainBet has quick links to third-party services that can help you. Services like GamCare, Gamblers Anonymous, Gordon House Association and RCA Trust are just one click away.

If you want more similar sites, BritainBet has a good number of sister sites you can try. These are all in the ProgressPlay casino family:

  • SlotLux Casino: This is a fresh departure from the same design. It feels like a breath of fresh air while still having the same kind of a good game library.
  • JeffBet Casino: JeffBet is a classic ProgressPlay site. They haven't tried to reinvent the wheel but rather focus on what makes them good.

Want to try something completely different? Here are some more unique choices:

  • PlayGrand Casino: Stylish, elegant and subtle. This is what PlayGrand is all about. With plenty of live and table games, you get a good brick-and-mortar experience here.
  • Queen Play: This casino is a big step in the complete opposite direction. Bright, vibrant colours fill the screen, and you get to enjoy high-energy casino action.
  • Plaza Royal: Plaza Royal is more of your average online casino that has a bit of everything. This is your all-rounder that everyone can enjoy.
